1. FIND MORE TRUST
When a society is no longer based on ethics, we lose trust. Trust in ourselves, in others, in humanity, in life. Trust is the glue of a society, and if trust disappears, society falls apart.
This doesn’t mean we should fall apart ourselves. Letting go of control doesn’t mean we should lose grip on ourselves or grip on life. We simply need a grip that is more feminine in nature.
The masculine finds grip through outward control. It wants to control the other, by imposing laws and rules, by using physical force, or through suppression, if needed. The feminine grip is completely different. She finds her grip deep inside her own core.
The masculine is strong in behavior, but tender on the inside.
The feminine is soft and relational in behavior, but resilient on the inside.
If we want to bring feminine qualities into the outside world (the ability to relate, to reconnect, to bring in healing and peace, to stand up for our offspring and the seven generations after us, to speak our truth) it is important that we strengthen our inner core. This means: more inner trust, more stability, more resilience.
If we don’t strengthen that inner core, we will have to relate on outer strength. We will tend to harden, search for strong leaders, and maybe even side with fighters or bullies. We hide behind anonymous posts, fight competitors, and depend on others to validate us. The old masculine way.
MEDITATIONS
* In these audios I played the following songs:
Om Gam Mantra / Chanters Seba & Maltę Marten and Heaven Prayer Opera / Shamballah
To support these wonderful artists, I would kindly ask you to play the song you heard at least one time on Spotify, after listening to the meditation. This way, they will get a fair remuneration for the songs used. (Click on the song to access it.)
THE CHALLENTE THIS MONTH IS:
TO CREATE MORE INNER TRUST BY STRENGTHENING
THE INNER CORE.
We can enhance a deeper trust in ourselves, in others, and in life itself, by ‘zooming in’ and ‘zooming out’. Zooming in on the inner world, and zooming out to the cosmic world.
Tune into the different fields of the circle and notice which one in your life needs nourishment. By feeding all four fields, you will develop a stronger foundation and feel more self-confident, peaceful, and determined. You won’t need others to validate your ideas or choices so much, you will also trust others more easily, and trust the journey of your life.
ZOOM IN / Your inner world
See also all tips & tools in chapter 1.
You can work with these during the whole journey.
Create a daily moment of introspection. Take just a few minutes at the end of your day to close your eyes and observe your inner world.
-
Scan your body and notice your physical sensations.
Check the Body Scan Meditation at the top of this page.-
Is there an organ or part of your body that needs your attention?
-
Put your hand on it, breath into it, and ask if it has a message for you. Just let it speak to you as if it were a person, telling you how it feels and what it needs.
-
-
Observe your thoughts.
-
When you close your eyes and check in with yourself, what is the first thought that comes to mind?
-
Is a certain theme bothering you or keeping you awake?
-
Does is need to be solved immediately?
-
Can you write it down and let it go until tomorrow?
-
-
Put a hand on your heart.
-
Does your heart feel light and joyful? Or is it heavy and burdened?
-
Can you describe what you feel?
-
Can you give that feeling more space and experience it fully?
-
What happens when you give it all the space it needs?
-
ZOOM IN / Your Intimate World
The feminine has always been responsible for the intimate world: the house, the home, the children, the family, and relationships with close friends.
She knows that if that place is healthy, clean, safe, and warm, it provides a foundation for rest and renewal. If the intimate space is a mess, there is no relief from the wild world out there, and she will become depleted. She needs a stable sanctuary to nourish herself.
Ask yourself:
-
When you open the door of your house after a full day’s work, do you find a sanctuary, a trustful place to rest? Or do you find a big mess that drains even more of your energy?
-
Which part of your house needs clearing?
-
How safe and warm is your intimate world?
-
How many hours do you sleep at night? Is there anything you can do to improve your sleep?
-
How long has it been since you received a massage?
-
Can you touch your partner, or friends, without sexual intention? Can you lay your hand on someone’s hand or shoulder, just to feel close or to offer comfort?
-
Is there someone you could physically embrace today?
-
What activities could help you engage your senses? Do you like cooking, gardening, herb-picking, painting? Do you have pets that love to be cuddled? Can you consciously use your senses while doing housework or enjoying your hobbies?
TIP: USE YOUR SENSES / If you consciously connect with your environment through your senses (your hands, your nose, your mouth, your ears), you not only develop a sharper awareness of the physical world around you, making it feel safer, but you also breath life into your intimate space. In this way, you fully own the place, ensuring that no intruding energy can settle in.
ZOOM IN / Your Real Life Experience
The “world out there” floods us with all kinds of upsetting news. It is good to have an idea of what is going on in the world, but when the news creates distress or cognitive dissonance, actively redirect your focus to your everyday life. It will calm your nerves and restore trust.
-
Make a clear distinction between different worlds. The world is the world, and your world is your world. These two worlds do not necessarily coincide. The world may go mad, but your life can still get better every day.
-
Acknowledge all the good things in your life right now. Do you have a roof over your head? Enough money for the basics? Friendly and caring people around you? Count your blessings, relax, and enjoy what life brings you.
-
Engage in physical activities that ground you. Preferably choose something you enjoy, such as cooking, gardening, playing with your kids, painting, dancing, making love. Regularly reconnect with the basics of life. Especially when fear strikes.
-
Your concrete reality is the only world in which you can actually change anything. If you don’t like the world as it is and want to change it, focus on your immediate surroundings. We, as humans, are active creators. We can change our thoughts, our feelings, our actions, and the way we look at things. Thàt is what will truly create change.
DID YOU KNOW? The first lesson that initiates learned upon entering a mystery school was to acknowledge how everything they encountered in life mirrored something inside themselves.
Whatever you experience is an outer reflection of an inner thought, conviction, feeling, or unconscious need or wish. Therefore, with every encounter that triggers you, look in the mirror and see a part of yourself that you may not have met yet – and become more than you were.
ZOOM OUT / The Higher Perspective
Another way to cultivate trust in the world and in life, is by zooming out and looking at things from a higher perspective.
Look at your situation from a bird’s eye view:
-
When a problem keeps bothering you, try looking at it from a higher perspective. Zoom out and look at the world: how big does your problem look from there? Look at the totality of your life: will you remember this problem or situation at the end of your life, or even next month? How ‘big’ is this really?
-
When you encounter hindrances on your soul’s path, regularly step back and look at what is happening from a long-term perspective. This allows you to rediscover the essence of what you are doing, and why you are doing it. Focus on the long-term impact. Even if only your children or grandchildren will benefit from your efforts, hold on to that awareness. Don’t focus on the minor drawbacks and don’t despair. Deep within, you know what you are doing.
-
Opening the feminine portal within, also opens the door to the metaphysical experience of being part of a greater whole. It unlocks access to your spiritual self and to an awareness that there may be a cosmic principle or intelligence that is guiding the whole process of evolution. Call her The Great Mother.
-
If you doubt where the world evolution is heading towards, it may help to read about the insights on human and cosmological development that great thinkers have developed all through history. Ancient spiritual traditions and modern psychological models reveal insights that can help us rediscover trust in life and in the evolution we are currently witnessing.
Listen to the second meditation at the top of this page to find strength in higher forces .
TIP: LOOK AT THE STARS / Give yourself time to awaken your sense of wonder by connecting with the forces of nature. The easiest way to do that is to stare at the starry sky at night and reconnect with something greater than yourself.
Wrap yourself in a warm blanket, find a comfortable spot, look up, and let your soul be carried away. Could it be that there is something bigger than you that knows where you are going – and even where humanity is heading? Something that guides us all through these challenging times?
Find inspiration in ancient traditions
Every ancient culture has a spiritual tradition, along with myths or models that reveal our origin and destination.
Notice which tradition you are naturally drawn to: the Indian? The Egyptian? The Chinese? The Greek? The Hebrew? Or perhaps the Mayan tradition? Read their myths and study their living practices.
A few examples:
-
Astrological cosmology speaks of a 26.000-year evolutionary cycle divided into twelve astrological eras of about 2160 years each. These are determined by the characteristics of the particular zodiac sign we are collectively passing through. We were in the Age of Pisces from roughly the year zero up to the year 2160, an age marked by spiritual growth, religion, deep emotions, belief systems, but also delusion and superstition). We are now gradually evolving into the Age of Aquarius, which is governed by Uranus and characterized by radical change, technology, spirituality, collective consciousness, freedom, and transparency.
-
The Mayan discoveries of Carl Calleman speak of Nine Waves of Creation. These waves were sent out from the cosmic Tree of Life to shape evolution on our Earth, from the first mineral to the divine species. The Ninth Wave was activated in 2012, balancing our left and right brain hemispheres and wiring newborns for a consciousness of oneness.
-
According to Indian tradition, the world cycles consecutively through a Golden, Silver, Bronze, and Iron or Dark Age. We are currently living in that materialistic and challenging Kali Yuga, the Age of Darkness, which began in 3102 BC. At the end of this age the world undergoes a complete renewal. While traditional texts state that the Kali Yuga lasts for over 400.000 years, modern researchers suggest that the next phase (Dvapara Yuga, an era of less strife and duality) will begin between now and 2030, with a transition period of 300 years.
-
The evolutionary model Spiral Dynamics describes a kind of quantum leap that we will all make at some point in our evolution. This shift makes us realise that every previous stage of development was incomplete and unsatisfying, naturally propelling us toward a more integrative awareness and, ultimately, a consciousness of oneness.
-
Many spiritual leaders speak of a next stage of human evolution, where humans ascends to a more developed, even divine-like status. This perspective suggests we are currently transitioning from Homo sapiens to a more evolved form of humanity: that we could call Homo deus, Homo spiritus, Homo amor, or the Supramental Being… While there are many names for this next phase of existence, it is envisioned as a state that can be reached either through technology and transhumanism, or through an internal spiritual and energetic evolution.
Our next zoom will be on Wednesday, November 18. Welcome to join again!
We'll dive into the world of Inanna and free us of all we no longer need.

Which area of your life needs adjustment?
It may be interesting to compare this Bagua Map (a Feng Shui energy blue print) to check which area of your home, and thus life, needs more attention. You can create more balance by cleaning, taking away objects that belong to the past, or adding beautiful objects or colors that represent one of the missing elements in that part of your house: wood, fire, earth, metal, or water.
Overlay the layout onto your house plan, aligning the bottom edge with the side containing the front door, and scaling the map to fit the shape of your home.
